Deeply influenced by japanese culture and particularly inspired by the sleek style of famous designers such as Ikko Tanaka and Shigeo Fukuda, this new series of visuals for japanese Miyabi knives fuses modernism principles and aesthetics with japanese traditions. The brief was focused on their unique long lasting sharpness so that's why we decided to demonstrate the katsuramuki technique, a way of cutting food into a thin long strip, as thin as paper.
