My path was traced to become a designer in the surf industry, having grown up near the Atlantic and being on boards for as long as I could remember. But instead, a Surfrider printed ad convinced me to go into advertising, to ride the waves of different kind of Mavericks. Since then, I've done a lot of creative stuff with my son and won awards with my agency.
If you have time to spare
Graduated with a degree in applied arts, I felt self-confident enough to move to Paris to look for a job in the parisian agency that made the Surfrider printed ad. But instead of landing at Y&R Paris, I landed in 2012 in the creative department of the independent agency Herezie. For five years, I spent my whole time to learn and practice a lot. I also collected some awards helping the agency to appear for the first time in the Gunn Report. The " Beauty of Sharpness " campaign was ranked in 2015 as one of the world's most awarded print, winning Gold at Cannes, pencils at D&AD and a Grand Prix at New York Festival.
In 2017, willing to develop more content in social media and digital activations, I joinded We Are Social Paris as a senior creative where I oversee work on the AccorHotel global account and bring creative solutions on international clients such as Adidas, Hasbro, Renault Sport.
Deeply committed to preserve oceans and marine life I also try to find some free time to help NGOs to raise awareness on environment issues. In 2016, I had the opportunity to collaborate with Sea Shepherd on a campaign to ban cetaceans captivity in marine parks. Few months after the campaign ran online, french environment minister voted a law to ban breeding of dolphins and whales in captivity. That's the other kind of "award" you'd like to win most of time.
For me, advertising is like the perfect wave: an everlasting quest where you have to find balance, pleasure, focus and determination in order to create the perfect run…
When I'm not exciting to look for ideas that can stop world hunger or creating a more peaceful world, I just live as a normal guy that spend his time to look for his young son who discover the world all day long.
